发明名称 HEAD ACCESS MECHANISM OF DISK DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To attenuate vibration of the shaft of a step motor which drives a carriage and to decrease settling time with easy composition by installing a rigid member giving inertia moment through an elastic member to a circumference of the shaft. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a belt 6 wound on a pulley 3 are fixed at a head carriage 1 and the pulley 3 is linked to a rotary shaft 4 of a step motor 5. A metallic ring plate member 8 is fitted through a rubber-made ring plate member 7 to the pulley 3 with adhesives, so that the member may be concentric with a motor shaft 4. Consequently, inertia moment is given to the rotary shaft 4 of the step motor 5 by both ring plate members, a rotational drive type amplitude of the pulley, etc., is attenuated and a great damping is applied. For this reason, the vibration is attenuated by easy construction and settling time can be decreased.
