A soft beverage is prepd. from the fragrant mushroom. Thus 5kg of wet mushroom of 1kg of dried mushroom are immersed in 20L of 5% EtOH soln. for a week, crushed, and then pressed with a cheese cloth to give mushroom exts. Undried ginseng, 100g, is added to 2L ofd water, curshed and pressed to give ginseng exts. A mixture of ginseng exts. and mushroom exts.(1 : 99) is made and heated at 90≦̸C for 30min. and filtered to give clean filtrates. Sugars, such as sucrose, glucose, and fructose, and food additives are added into the filtrate at a ratio of 5% to give the mushroom drink. The mushroom drink is sealed in cans or bottles and sterilized at 100≦̸C for 10min. to give the final prepns.
