PURPOSE:To shorten the cycle time in recording on a recording sheet, by making a recording sheet impermeable to gas and laminating a gas-permeable separable sheet on the recording sheet. CONSTITUTION:The separable sheet 12 is provided with a plurality of rectangular apertures 16 in three rows 18, 20, 22. In the case of the separable sheet 12a with a small length l, the apertures 16 are provided in two rows, i.e., rows 18 and 20. Due to the gas permeability of the sheet 12, the sheet and a transparent sheet are moved as one body with each other through a paper passage in a recorder equipped with a vacuum feeding mechanism. Since the transparent sheet and the separable sheet are treated as one body, it suffices to provide one printing cycle per one transparent sheet. In addition, it is unnecessary to provide an expensive detector for distinguishing the separable sheet and the transparent sheet from each other which detector has been required in a conventional system. |
