PURPOSE:To stabilize the amount of offset preventing liquid supplied to a coating surface all the time by controlling the position shift of an offset preventing liquid storage container according to the state of a coating device. CONSTITUTION:Although the concentration of the silicone oil in a silicone oil supplying member 11 is in a stationary saturated state during transition in the beginning of the operation start of the coating device 3, a dynamic saturation state is entered in a saturation period where the operation becomes stable, and the vertical distance from the supplying member 11 to the contacting part to a coating roll 13 is set to h2 and h1 in order to set the supply amount of the silicone oil to a proper value agr/min in both the saturation period and transition period. For this purpose, the silicone oil storage container 20 is allowed to move between positions A and B by a moving mechanism; it is displaced to the position A during operation, i.e. silicone oil supplying operation or to the position B when the operation is not performed, i.e. when the silicone oil is not supplied. Thus, the proper heads h1 and h2 are held and the supply amount of the silicone oil is made substantially constant during the transition period and saturation period. |
