PURPOSE:To set the surface temp. of a heat roll at either of two temps. by affixing two temp. sensitive elements to the roll, and selecting one of two kinds of output circuits with respect to the signals detected with a sensor head. CONSTITUTION:Two temp. sensitive elements 17p and 17q of p deg.C and Q deg.C (p<q) of detecting temps. are affixed on the surface of a heat roll 13, and a sensor head 18 is provided opposite thereto. As the roll 13 revolves, the elements 17p and 17q are opposed alternately to the sensor head 18. The signals generated from the head 18 are discriminated by a one-shot 26, a retriggerable one-shot 27, and a switch (for setting roll surface temp. to p deg.C or q deg.C) 32 to provide the output signal for an off gate 30, whereby the temp. of the heat roll surface is set. It is possible to select the temp. of the roll in correspondence to the thickness of paper. |
