PURPOSE:To attain high speed carrying while position shift of a cartridge is eliminated at reversing by adopting the constitution that a center of both side reversing and a center of cartridge loading/ejection inlet are made in a line in a cartridge holder and a carrier. CONSTITUTION:A holder 1 storing a cartridge 4 is provided in a frame shape carrier 2 reciprocated in horizontal direction between the front face position of a storage 5 and a front face position of disc drivers 6, 16. The carrier 2 and the holder 1 have openings 2a, 1a facing the storage 5 or disc drivers 6, 16 and loading/ejecting the cartridge 4 to an overlapped end face, and the center of both side reversing and the center of the cartridge inlet/outlet of the holder 1 and the carrier 2 are made in a line. When the two openings 2a, 1a are overlapped, the cartridge 4 is received from the storage 5 and given to the drivers 6, 16 after either side is reversed as required, then the position shift of the cartridge is prevented and the high speed carrying is attained. |
