PURPOSE:To prevent disturbant motion such as rotary motion by disposing the centroid of a moving portion driven in a linear direction of a linear motor on the line of operating a linear drive force. CONSTITUTION:When a coil 6 is energized, a drive force F is acted in a direction of an imaginary line 100 between a magnetic unit 7 and an actuating member 5. The line of operating the force F is disposed on a guide moving surface, and this line passes a centroid G of a linear motor 1. Assume that the centroid G is disposed at the position different from that described above, a branch force vertical to the moving direction with respect to the centroid is generated at the force F1, the moving portion 50 moves in a disturbant motion like a fluctuation in elevational directions, but the fluctuation can be prevented by disposing the centroid G of the portion 50 on the line of operating the drive force of the linear direction. |
