摘要

PURPOSE:To decrease output fluctuation as compared to the case in which there is no means for impressing a magnetic field by providing the means for impressing the magnetic field smaller than the coercive force of the vertically magnetizable anisotropic film of a vertical two-layered film medium and larger than the coercive force of the permeable film to the position just before a playback head. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic field of about 3-4Oe larger than the coercive force of the ''Permalloy(R)'' of the vertical two-layered film medium 4 and small- er than the coercive force of CoCr is impressed by a ring type magnetic head 15 just before reproduction with the playback head 14. Then the magnetization which is not restrained by the magnetic field of CoCr in the ''Permalloy(R)'' film faces approximately one direction and therefore the fluctuation at the working point of the magnetization of the MR film is decreased and the fluctuation of the reproduced output is decreased as compared to the case in which there is no impression of the DC magnetic field.
