PURPOSE:To enable easy manufacture of an internal-combustion engine at a low cost, by a method wherein a rotor is rotably disposed in a rotor housing having a recess formed in its inner surface, and an actuating member, brought into contact with and separated from the inner surface of the rotor housing, is located to the interior of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 8, having a recess part 9 formed in its inner surface, is rotatably disposed to the interior of a rotor housing 1 having a first recess part 2 and a second recess part 3 formed in its inner surface. An actuating member 25, brought into and separated from the inner surface of the rotor housing 1 along with rotation of the rotor 8, is located before and behind the recess part 9 in the rotor 8 so that the member is movable in and out. The one end of an arm 15, extended through the rotor 8, is attached to the inner end of the actuating member 25,and the other end of the arm 15 is pivotally secured to a stationary crank shaft 7. This enables easy manufacture of an internal-combustion engine at a low cost. |
