PURPOSE:To prevent a missing pulse from generating by forcibly increasing the duty of the prescribed time output signal continued to a missing pulse to coincide with an input signal when the missing pulse is generated. CONSTITUTION:A signal generator 1 generates a rectangular wave having a period corresponding to the rotating speed of an internal combustion engine, the output level of a comparator 10 is controlled through an integrator 2 with respect to the respective rotating speeds of the engine to control the duty of the output current. In this case, in order to prevent the missing pulse from generating, an additional circuit 12 designated by a broken line in the drawing is provided. Thus, F/F circuit 18 is set by the output pulse detected by a missing pulse detector 13, the time constant in the comparator 10 is converted by a time constant converter 16 to reduce the charging or discharging current, the F/F circuit 18 is reset by the completion of counting in a timer 14 set by the pulse, and reset to the normal operation. |
