PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having excellent thermal aging resistance without lowering the original characteristics of the base resin, by compounding a polyolefin with diphenylamine, a benzimidazole-based antiaging agent and a specific metal oxide. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition usable continuously for a long period at 120-150 deg.C can be prepared by compounding (A) 100pts.(wt.) of a polyolefin with (B) 0.5-8pts. of diphenylamine of formula which is a viscous liquid under normal condition, (C) 1-30pts. of a benzimidazole-based antiaging agent, e.g. 2-mercaptobenzimidazole (zinc salt) and (D) 2-70pts. of the oxide of a metal of the IIb group (As, Sb, Bi, etc.) or Va group (Zn, Cd, etc.) of the periodic table. The amounts of the components B, C and D are preferably 2-4pts., 5-15pts. and 3-20pts. per 100pts. of the component A, respectively. |
