PURPOSE:To improve heat radiation, to prevent a photosensitive drum from overheat at the time of continuous use and to simplify a fixing mechanism by inserting heat radiation fins having V-shaped sections between radical rims arranged between an inner cylinder for a bearing and a drum body so that the folded side edges of the fins and both blade plate parts are joined and fixed to the outer periphery of the inner cylinder and the inside of the drum body respectively. CONSTITUTION:The inner cylinder 2 for the bearing and the outer cylinder 1 forming the drum body are concentrically and unitedly molded through plural radical coupling rims 3 and the heat radiation fins having V-shaped sections are inserted between the rims 3 arranged between the inner and outer cylinders 1, 2 in the axial direction so that the folded side edges 4a of the fins 4 are abutted upon the outer periphery of the inner cylinder 2 and the outer side edges of the both the blade plate parts 4b are abutted upon the inside of the outer cylinder 1 and the abutted parts are unitedly joined and fixed. In addition, the fins 4 are engaged with the thin grooves formed oppositely to the inner and outer cylinders 1, 2 at their side edges on the basis of brazing. It is preferable for brazing to use Al brazing sheets for the fins 4. Consequently, the heat radiation of the drum is improved and the surface temperature can be sufficiently dropped, so that no trouble such as overheat is generated in spite of the long continuous use, the fixing mechanism can be simplified and the copying machine can be reduced at its size. |
