A hollow blow-moulded container (1) of biaxially oriented saturated polyester resin or polyethylene terephthalate in which an upper part (5) for the neck section (4) is thicker than an intermediate section (6), and an upper half part (5a) of the upper part (5) is thicker than a lower half part (5b) of the upper part (5). Thus, a cap can be exactly mounted on the neck section (4) of this container (1), and the quantity of the material of the neck section ,4) can be reduced. |
