PURPOSE:To decrease the number of components to be used while preventing the decrease in output due to the increase in temperature of a solar cell, by providing a support base which serves also as a housing box and whose cover serves for dissipating heat of the solar cell panel. CONSTITUTION:A solar cell support base 1 has on the upper face thereof a solar cell panel 11, the surface of which is inclined so as to be directed to the sun, A protective glass plate 12 is superposed on the solar cell panel 11 and held peripherally, together with the panel 11, by a support frame 13 of Al or the like. A heat conductive sheet 14 is affixed to the whole rear face of the solar cell panel 11, and a metallic cover 15 is attached with its upper face contacted with the sheet 14 such that the sheet 14 is sandwiched between the cover and the panel. Thus, the solar cell panel 11, the protective glass plate 12, the heat conductive sheet 14 and the cover 15 form an integral structure by means of the support frame 13. The support base itself serves also as a housing box, and the closable cover effectively contributes to the heat dissipation of the solar cell panel. Accordingly, not only the number of components can be decreased but also the thermal characteristics of the solar cell can be improved. |
