PURPOSE:To obtain a developing toner sufficiently and uniformly charged electrostatically without dispersion of charge amts. among toner particles and to obtain a sharp copied image stably by incorporating a specified compd. as a charge controller. CONSTITUTION:The compd. to be incorporated as a charge controller in the toner is represented by the formula in which R1-R4 are each optionally substd. aryl and X is an anionic functional group. The addition of such a compd. in a toner permits a charge amt. of each toner particle to be made sufficient and freed of scattering, and a sharp copied image freed of image whitening to be stably obtained. |
