<p>IMPROVED GARMENT HANGER WITH GRIP An improved garment-engaging grip of a plastic ship-on hanger in which a cooperating finger and wall engage an interposed garment therebetween, and the finger is movable into a clearance provided behind it to allow for the bulk of the garment, to thereby relieve, by virtue of this adjustment in position of the finger, any stress in the plastic at the juncture of the finger connection to the hanger and, thus, the tendency of rupture at said juncture. The finger additionally has a gripping projection in the form of a bump, which significantly increases the gripping pressure on the garment.</p> |
