PURPOSE:To prevent confusion of operation due to forgetting to return a mode changing switch in a radio equipment having a regular mode and an adjusting mode, by incorporating a program that starts from the regular mode when a power source is turned on in a CPU of a controlling section. CONSTITUTION:A mode changing switch 21 that changes a regular mode in which communication is possible and an adjusting mode for setting frequency and a CPU22 are provided in a controlling section 20 that controls a transmitting and receiving section 10. A program that starts from the regular mode when the switch is in either side, and a program that shifts to the adjusting mode when the switch is changed to adjusting mode indication through regular mode indication are incorporated in the CPU22. Thus, even when shipping is made with the mode changing switch in the adjusting side, starting is made always from the regular mode when the power source is turned on, confusion in operation of general users can be prevented. |
