PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacture cost by manufacturing a magnetic recording and reproducing head and a biasing magnetic head constituting a magnetic head by the same manufacture process. CONSTITUTION:Plural head sections 4 consisting each of a magnetic layer 2 and a coil conductor 3 are formed on a base 1 at an equal interval in the X direction and the column of the head sections 4 arranged in the X direction with similar interval are provided in the Y direction on the base by four columns. The two columns are used as one set and faces 5 having a gap are opposed at a prescribed interval, the front column constitutes a bias magnetic head and the rear column constitutes a magnetic recording/reproducing head. After a combined member 6 and a regulating member 7 are bonded, the result is cut at each column at a position in broken lines, the head 4, the base 1, a head protection plate 6B, a regulating plate upper half 6A and a regulating plate member 7 are formed to be a sliding curved face toward the gap side and they are cut off at each head. |
