The measured performance data are compared automatically by the computer with previously measured corresp. data measured shortly after the most recent prior adjustment so that it constitutes an ideal parameter for comparison purposes. Where the process is a heat pump for output air heat with indirect heat absorption, and used in the defrosting of refrigeration batteries, the temp. of the refrigerant carrier emerging from the heat pump, and that on the corresp. carrier coming into the pump are predetermined, and then further on a continuous basis. For process adjustment purposes, the performance measurement is taken from a pair of refrigerant carrier temps. at outlet and input or one of these temps., with the difference between them being calculated. |
