PURPOSE:To prevent liquid crystal optical shutter from light leakage and the generation of flare by forming a reflection preventing means on a glass substrate or a metallic film constituting the liquid crystal shutter. CONSTITUTION:Light made incident from a light source 12 upon a glass substrate 19 through a polarizing plate 27, a glass substrate 18 and a liquid crystal agent 28 is reflected by a chrome mask 24. Since the reflected light is made incident upon a reflection preventing film 23 and then a metallic film 21, the quantity of the reflected light is reduced as compared with the direct incidence upon the metallic film 21. Consequently, reflection is not repeated in the glass substrate 19 and the generation of flare is also reduced. Since the reflected light 30b oriented to the glass substrate 19 is also made incident upon the glass plate 19 through a reflection preventing film 26, repeated reflection of light upon the glass plate 19 is reduced, so that reflection is not repeated also between the lens 15 and a liquid crystal optical shutter 13 and the generation of flare can be removed. |
