PURPOSE:To obtain a variable directivity microphone having a broad directivity range by weighting signals of microphone units constituting a microphone array according to their sensitivity and adding these weighted signals in an adder. CONSTITUTION:Signals from microphone units MUa1-MUan, MUb1-MUbm and MUc1-MUcm which constitute a microphone array MA are independently weighted in respective coefficient units Ka1-Kan, Kb1-Kbm and Kc1-Kcm according to the sensitivities of the units. The weighted signals are fed to adders ADDc and ADDs. The adder ADDc adds the outputs of units in a central array zone ZC. The adder ADDs adds the outputs of units in first and second side array zones ZS1 and ZS2. The outputs of the adders ADDc and ADDs are level regulated in respective level regulators VRc and VRs, the outputs of which are added by an adder ADD to produde a voice output having a directivity. |
