PURPOSE:To secure such a cell as being large in discharge capacity, energy density and power density as well as favorable in the flatness of discharge voltage, by setting a composite body, combining a conductive organic polymer and a conductive inorganic material, down to a positive pole. CONSTITUTION:A filmlike positive pole 4 is made up of a particle or fiber of a conductive inorganic material being covered with a conductive organic polymer film polymerizing a complex cyclic compound with a conjugate double bond and containing a dopant. This complex cyclic compound having the conjugate double bond is polymerized by means of an electrochemical device, while it will be enough that the complex cyclic compound is of such one as having capacity capable of making the polymer obtained by this polymerization dope or undope an anion. For example, the said positive pole 4 and a positive pole current collecting body 5 are superposed on one another in order on one surface of a separator 3 impregnated with a dopant solution and in addition a negative pole active material 1 and a negative pole current collecting body 2 are as well superposed on one another in order on the other surface of this separator whereby a cell is produced. |
