PURPOSE:To obtain exchangeability with a conventional device by extracting a part removed with overshoot, attenuating it, adding it to a part just before the edge of a signal from a clip circuit, extracting the added part from a demodulation signal, inverting it and adding it to the added part of the demodulation signal and the part eliminated with the overshoot. CONSTITUTION:A part eliminated by a clip circuit 3 from an overshoot of the leading of a signal (a) is extracted as a signal (d). A signal (f) attenuating the signal (d) is inverted and outputted from the clip circuit 3 and added to a part just before the edge of the signal (c) outputted from the clip circuit 3 and delayed to obtain a signal (e). A reproducing signal from a magnetic tape reproduced by a rotary head is incoming to a terminal 11 and the added part just before a demodulation signal (g) is extracted by an extraction circuit 17. The extracted signal (j) is amplified and inverted, added to a prt eliminated with the overshoot to the signal (g), the signal (j) is inverted and added to the added part of the signal (g) and the nearly same signal (n) as the original signal (a) is obtained. |
