PURPOSE:To miniaturize an objective lens driver by using an electromagnetic means for focus control tracking control and adopting a support mechanism while giving tension by an absorbing force of a magnet. CONSTITUTION:A focus control coil 22 and a tracking control coil 23 are wound while being made orthogonal to a magnetic substance 21, which is fixed to a base 27 made of a nonmagnetic substance and an objective lens 24 is fixed to a nonmagnetic holder 25 together with a magnet 20. One end of an elastic body 26 made of four wires is fixed to the holder 25 and the other end is fixed to the base 27. Thus, the elastic body 26 receives tension in the Y direction by the absorbing force of the magnet 20 and the magnetic substance 21, suspended and supported so as to be moved in the X and Z directions and the four wires receive the tension but not subjected to unreasonable bending stress as in an conventional example. Thus, the rigidity of the elastic body 26 is decreased and the objective lens 24 is supported stably. |
