<p>PURPOSE:To make a piston seal for a disk brake excellent in stability and endurance by uniting the two layers into one arranging a stylene rubber layer at the side of the slide way contacting with the piston and an ethylenepropylene rubber layer at the side of the seal groove of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A stylene rubber layer 8a and an ethylenepropylene rubber layer are arranged at the side of the slide way contacting with a piston 6, that is, at the side of an inner circumference and at the side of a seal groove 7, that is, at the side of outer circumference respectively, to be united into a piston seal 8. The stylene rubber layer 8a shall be made to be as thin as possible so that the bordersection in the cylinder axis direction between the rubber layers 8a and 8b may be positioned within chambered corners 7a and 7b. For this reason, the piston seal can be excellently stabilized and endured.</p> |
