PURPOSE:To eliminate the relative displacement between a combined rubber material and a metallic ring, by adhesively attaching the combined rubber material of fixed weight previously to the metallic ring so as to form the material and the ring into an assembly unit. CONSTITUTION:A metallic ring 2 is fitted into a hollow formed in a bottom mold 4 of an adhesive metal mold. An upper mold 3, being placed on the metallic ring, is closely attached. A material of fixed weight, being injected from an injection port 7 of the upper mold 3 to flow in the direction of an arrow head A in the drawing into a cavity formed between the upper mold 3 and the bottom mold 4, forms a combined rubber material 1 to be adhesively attached to the metallic ring 2. An assembly unit of the adhesively attached combined rubber material 1 and the metallic ring 2 is placed on an annular protrusion 9 of a bottom mold 6 for compression molding, and an oil seal is molded by compressing an upper mold 5 and the bottom mold 6 in the direction of an arrow head B in the drawing. |
