PURPOSE:To ensure a process of cutting work in high accuracy and improve the durability of a tip, by mounting tips, tilted at a predetermined angle for the cutting direction of rotation, to the peripheral part of a disc-shaped cutter body and providing multiple edges in a milling cutter. CONSTITUTION:A cutter body 10 constituted in a ring shape provides in its peripheral part a plurality of tilted grooves 20 having a predetermined depth. The groove 20 provides a threaded hole 24 for a bolt 22 to be drilled. A tip 18, being formed in a squared pillar shape equipping a hole for a mounting bolt in the center and fitted to the tilted groove 20 performing the positioning, is fixed to the threaded hole 24 by the bolt 22. The tip 18, providing multiple edges while accuracy of cutting as a wheel further being easily repladed, enhances the durability. |
