PURPOSE:To increase torque and make the rotating action smooth by rotating a movable casing drum with compressed hot water from a nozzle, taking out the rotational output, and by separating the compressed hot water into low-pressure steam and saturated water through the action of the centrifugal force produced with said rotation. CONSTITUTION:A movable casing drum 1 constituting the moving part of a turbine is composed of a drum 2, a supporting end-plate 3 installed at one end of said drum 2, and a ring-shaped end plate 4 installed at the other end in such a way as forming a central opening 5. The area facing the bore of said drum 1 is divided radially by partition plates 6 to form a plurality of air-water separator compartments 7, and a water takeout hole 8 is provided in the supporting end- plate 3 in each compartment 7. fixed casings 12, 10 are arranged outside the end plates 3, 4 so as to constitute the stationary part of turbine. A nozzle 14 for injection of compressed hot water is furnished in the upper part of the drum 1 in such a way as fronting the corresponding partition plate 6 with a certain specific angle reserved. |
