PURPOSE:To quickly open and close a gate by a method in which the upper part of one end of a water-proof gate is connected to a hanging wheel to be traveled in an elevator guide rail provided on the wall of one side of an opening to be closed and the upper guide rail, and a traveling wheel is provided on the downside of the free end side of the gate. CONSTITUTION:When a water-proof gate 6 is in closed state, the handle 5a of a screw-type elevator 5 is operated, and an elevator guide rail 4 is raised and matched with an upper guide rail 1. At the same time, the left side of the gate 6 is raised through a hanging wheel 7, a traveling wheel 9 in a recessed portion 11 is slidably set to deprive the gate 6 of its load through a water-tight rubber piece 10 and laterally moved toward the direction of (a) for opening the gate 6. |
