<p>The formation of duplicating wads from a pile of sheets of paper, partic. pressure sensitive duplicating paper, arranged in the required order involves applying a pre-treatment liq. on one edge of the pile, then drying this edge; app. lying an adhesive on the edge of the pile, then drying the adhesive; and sepn. of the sheets into wads. The pre-treament liq. is compatible with the duplicating wads, improves the bonding between adjacent sheets of the pile which have adjacent surfaces coated with reactive substances, and prevents bonding between adjacent sheets with non-coated adjacent surfaces.</p> |
