PURPOSE:To prevent rainwater from flying to a heat generating parts and to improve reliability, by a method wherein the heat generating parts, with which an inverter is formed, are located to the indoor side of a fan casing. CONSTITUTION:During heating operation, heat is exchanged by an indoor side heat exchanger 13, and hot air is blown in a chamber through a supply port 24 with the aid of an indoor side blast fan 12. A part 16 for controlling an inverter is attached to the indoor side 6 of a fan casing 5 through a mounting sheet 15, and is located, facing an air flow passage 14, and thereby the part is positively cooled by means of an indoor air passing through the air flow passage 14. Meanwhile, during cooling operation, a cooling air is blown in with the aid of the blast fan 12. In which case, the cooling air is heated by a radiation heat from the part 16 from controlling the inverter, but since cooling operation is decreased in an operation load of a freezing cycle over that of heating operation it has a surplus in terms of capacity. A cooling load is set to a slightly higher value in consideration of a radiation heat from the part 16 for controlling the inverter, and this enables production of comfortable cooling sensation with high efficiency. |
