PURPOSE:To enable early finding of the abnormality of cutting tool by obtaining the cutting vibration at first time band and other time band after start of cutting. CONSTITUTION:First area power in specified frequency band of cutting vibration in first time band after start of cutting is obtained while second area power in specific frequency band of cutting vibration in second time band different from first time band is also obtained to monitor the variation of the ratio between the first and second area powers. With such arrangement, abnormal cutting condition, chipping of cutting tool, etc. can be monitored/detected during cutting to enable early finding of abnormality. |
