PURPOSE:To dissolve a problem of insufficient torque during a speed change and improve traveling performance by operating a shift-down switch when a throttle is nearly fully opened and operating a kick-down switch when an accelerator is further depressed. CONSTITUTION:Setting positions of a shift-down switch 5 and a kick-down switch 6 are set so that the shift-down switch 5 is operated when an accelerator pedal 1 is depressed and a throttle is nearly fully opened and the kick-down switch 6 is operated when the accelerator pedal 1 is further depressed. Accordingly, a speed change operation is performed at high torque, thus a problem of insufficient torque at a speed change can be dissolved. In addition, the highest- speed stage travel is feasible under the condition of the full throttle opening or slightly before it, thereby traveling performance and specific fuel consumption is improved. |
