PURPOSE:To easily join two kinds of coil, by providing a projection to each coil in the direction of a cut line on the circumference of a coil, by overlapping two projections by juxtaposing them in the axial direction, and by welding both projections to each other. CONSTITUTION:A heating coil 1 made of Fe-Cr and a resistance coil 2 made of Ni are coiled up in the same diameter, and projections 3 and 4, which have larger diameters than those of coils, are formed at the ends of coils, facing to each other, by extending the ends so as to be at nearly right angles to each other. Two coils are laid in series in the axial direction in a recession on a base block 17, and a guide bar 12, whose diameter is as same as the internal diameter of coils, is inserted into both coils. In this state, the projections 3 and 4 of both coils are turned round, centering the guide bar 12, toward the side area of a stopper 13, by a turning piece 14 turning round toward the stopper 13 which is positioned on the welded side of a coil 1, being abutted against the side face of a stopper 13. By this method, both projections are automatically set in position, overlapped each other juxtaposedly, so that both coils can easily be joined to each other. The production efficiency can be increased, as this method enables the coils to be mass-producted. |
