PURPOSE:To improve the workability, productionability and the abrasion resistance at the sliding section by forming fixed scroll and swivel scroll with such material as mainly composed of synthetic resin while integrally providing abrasion-resistant material at the sliding section of both scrolls. CONSTITUTION:Since the fixed scroll 5 and the swivel scroll 11 in scroll compressor are formed with proper synthetic resin such as plastic, they are light and have excellent workability and machining after molding may be performed as required in short time. While since abrasion-resistant members 23, 25 are provided integrally at the sliding section of said scrolls 5, 11, the abrasion-resistance is improved to lengthen service life. Consequently, highly accurate fixed and swivel scrolls 5, 11 can be mass produced resulting in mass production of scroll compressors with low cost. |
