摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the effect of a tide, by mounting transmiting and receiving ultrasonic vibrators respectively having different frequencies in plural pipes fixed to a wire and measuring underwater temp. on the basis of the sonic velocity of ultrasonic waves passing through the pipes. CONSTITUTION:Transmitting and receiving ultrasonic vibrators 41-44, 51-54 having respective different frequencies f1-f4 are attached to both ends of plural pipes 3 fixed to two wires 2a, 2b provided so as to be wound up by a wind-up drum 1 and connected to transmitting and receiving apparatuses 7, 9 through signal wires 6a, 6b, 8a, 8b. When ultrasonic waves are emitted from the transmitting vibrators 41-44 by the electric signal from the transmitting apparatus 7, said ultrasonic waves are received by the receiving vibrators 51-54 to electric signals which are, in turn, sent to the receiving apparatus 9 where sonic velocity is detected to measure underwater temp. Therefore, no effect by tide is affected thereto and a structure can be simplified.
