A feeding place separator is used to separate two areas of a feeding place from each other. To enable rapid and simple setting up of the separator from its passive (withdrawn) position to its active (extended) position, where it can effectively separate the heads of two animals standing beside each other, so that the animals cannot steal fodder from each other, the feeding place separator includes a number of interconnected, essentially flat, parallel components. These are limited in their relative movement, from an initial position, where one component basically overlaps the immediately neighbouring component, to a second position, in which the overlap between the two components is minimal, and they are basically positioned next to each other, seen from perpendicular to the components' plane.<IMAGE> |
