PURPOSE:To mount a shutoff valve while gas is continuously supplied, by equipping a closing core mechanism to be built in a sleeve of two-split construction and cutting off the supply of gas. CONSTITUTION:An upper and a bottom sleeve 3, 2, being attached to a part mounting a shutoff valve, is fixed by tightening a bolt. Next, a hole cutting a gas flow pipe is drilled by mounting a no-blow drilling machine to an opening part 7 of the upper sleeve 3. A gland cap 20 is screwed by removing the drilling machine simultaneously inserting a seal core 13, building a closing core 17 in a closing core assembly hole, from the opening part of the sleeve into the sleeve. Finally, a seal material 9 is injected into the sleeve from an injection port provided in a part of the gland cap 20 or the sleeve, completely and closely attaching the seal core to a cut port of the gas flow pipe and to inside the sleeve. |
