PURPOSE:A highly safe cosmetic, prepared by adding a whey separated from a culture fluid obtained by cultivating lactic acid bacteria in an animal milk as a culture medium as an antioxidant or further with a tocopherol thereto, and usable for cream, milky lotion, hairdressing or toilet lotion, etc. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic prepared by adding a reducing material obtained by collecting a whey from a culture fluid of lactic acid bactreia in an animal milk as a culture medium, and removing a high-molecular weight substance having >=6,000 molecular weight substantially from the whey as an antioxidant thereto. The whey type antioxidant alone exhibits improved antioxidant effect, but the use thereof with the tocopherol exhibits a more remarkable effect by the synergistic effect. Preferably, about 0.03-3wt% based on the cosmetic, antioxidant expressed in terms of a solid substance and 0.001-0.1wt%, based on the cosmetic, tocopherol are added to the cosmetic. EFFECT:The skin disorder by the peroxidation of the sebum can be prevented with almost no fear of the skin disorder due to the lipoperoxides. |
