The invention relates to a peak pressure measuring and warning system with measured value memory and is intended for monitoring anaesthesia and therapeutic ventilation. It is the aim and object of the invention to store a measurement voltage analogous to the peak pressure at the end of inspiration and to compare it with the limit values for the ventilation pressure, this being done with little expenditure on circuit technology. This object is achieved by linkage of the signals of a pulse reducing circuit controlled by the control of the ventilator with those of a capacitor store whose memory circuit has a connection to the comparators preceding a signal level changing circuit.
