PURPOSE:To obtain a compact recording device with low noises low, which can print at high speed and is low in cost, by forming a recording section, a nose of which is projected in a dotty shate, at one part of an ultrasonic vibrator, arranging a printing tape while facing the dotty recording section and disposing recording paper while facing the back of the printing tape. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic vibrator 2 such as a horn 2a for a Langevin type vibrator is fixed at the nose section of a bolt 1. A recording section 2b, a nose thereof is formed to a dotty shape, is projected from the front surface of the horn 2a. When the ultrasonic vibrator 2 is vibrated on the formation of dots, the nose of the recording section 2b is brought to a state close to the loop of vibrations when the resonant state of the horn 2a and the recording section 2b is unified. Accordingly, the nose of the recording section 2b is brought into contact with a printing tape 10 thereby generating frictional heat the viscosity of ink or carbon is lowered, and ink or carbon is brought to an atomized state. At the same time, the nose of recording section 2b gives recording paper 11 an impact effect in a micron order, thus resulting in distinct printing. |
