PURPOSE:To facilitate supplying work for recording sheets, and prevent multi- feed thereof by making corner clicks for the recording sheets which are attached in a sheets feeding cassette move to the preset position in the recording sheets region, through being engaged with engaging membes of a sheets feeding device, when the said cassette is set in this sheets feeding device. CONSTITUTION:A pair of click members 5 which have clicks 5a used for preventing multi-feed of sheet, are set rotatably through shafts at the front of a pair of right/left supporting members 3, respectively. When a sheets feeding cassette main body 1 is set in a recording device, after recording sheets are set, the projections 3a of said supporting members 3 are engaged with the engaging members in the recording device and pushed by them, and these supporting members 3 are moved backward against springs 4. Accordingly, the clicks 5a are moved from their withdrawn position to above the right/left corners of the front edge of the recording sheets. Next, the pushing member of the device pushes up a pushing up plate 6 slantly through a notched part 1d of the bottom of the cassette 1, forces recording sheets piled thereon to touch a conveying belt, said clicks 5a suppress the top recording sheet under their own weight, and consequently, multi-feed thereof is prevented. |
