PURPOSE:To lengthen the life of a discharge receiver, and to obtain an ink jet recording device with a discharge receiving device having high safety by forming the discharge receiver to a beltlike shape on a test injection, carrying the discharge receiver and facing a section not fouled by ink to a head. CONSTITUTION:A discharge receiver 14, which is formed to an endless tape shape while being adjoined to recording paper 3 and consists of a porous material such as sponge or a fiber material, etc. such as a felt member, is bridged between two shafts 7, 7 as carrying means. When the shafts 7, 7 are turned properly, a section not fouled by ink in the discharge receiver 14 can be faced to a head. Knobs are fitted to the shafts 7 as means rotating the shafts 7 at that time, and the shafts 7 can be turned by the manual operation of an operator. The shafts 7 are connected to a driving means through a transmission mechanism, the driving means is operated in order to munutely rotate the shafts 7 when a power supply is turned ON, and fouling by ink is equalized extremely easily. |
