PURPOSE:To provide the titled device enabling to join continuously and uniformly over the whole periphery by performing a welding with a welding nozzle in a fixed condition by driving with rotation the steel pipe to be welded and a flange in a body. CONSTITUTION:The flange F to be welded to a steel pipe P is provisionally tack welded first, the flange F is engaged and placed on supporting cars 4, 5 with mounting on the both V grooves 4a, 5a and the V groove 19a of a presser car 19 is pressure-welded with fitting to the peripheral edge of the flange F by descending a mobable frame body 2 and the flange F is held. The tip of welding nozzles 22, 32 are arranged with approaching the peripheral edge of the joining part of the flange F and pipe P and when the supporting wheel 4 is rotated by the driving mechanism the supporting wheel 5 and presser wheel 19 are motioned like a roller to rotate smoothly the flange F and pipe P in a body. The joining part is automatically welded from both sides at the same time by thrusting a welding rod from both welding nozzles 22, 32. |
