PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a housing frame at pressurizing time and to perform a correct bend work by ascending and descending the ram which can slide vertically the vertical guide of a housing frame via a pair of the right and left beams and a linking mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A pair of the right and left beams 18 descend vertically a ram 6 with rotating with a upper end pin 28a as a fulcrum when a pair of the right and left rotary links 25 are rotated by cylinders 27, 27, and a bend work of a thin sheet, etc. is performed by the lower metal die 31 which is fitted to a bend 3 and the upper metal die 30 which is fitted to the lower end of a ram 6. At this time the motion is acted at faster ram speed until the upper metal die 30 which is fitted to the ram 6 reaches the plate bend zone and at slower speed during the bend work, against the movement of cylinders 27, 27. Further since the pressurizing load and deforming force are not placed on the housing frame 2 a correct bend work due to the vertical descent of the ram 6 can be performed. |
