发明名称 HEAT-MELTABLE TRANSFER TYPE RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain density gradation of more multiple steps (at least 16 steps or more) as compared with conventional one of at most 8 steps, by constituting an ink layer from specific two layers. CONSTITUTION:The color layer in the side of a base layer 11 is constituted of an intermeditate color layer 21 containing pigment and a binder component with a softening point of 60-200 deg.C and the color layer 22 close to the side of recording paper 5 is constituted of a layer containing a dye and a binder component with a softening point of 40-100 deg.C. As the pigment, inorg. one such as Alkali blue is used other than carbon black. As the dye, an anthraquinone acidic dye or basic dye such as azo or triphenylmethane is used and, as the binder component, paraffin wax is used. When energy is applied to thus obtained heat- meltable transfer type recording material, ink corresponding to the quantity of energy to be applied is transferred to paper to obtain a recording image having good density gradation on the paper.
