<p>The rolling ingots pass during heating through an oven (17) heated with fuel, wherein the rolling ingots rest on rails or carriers which advantageously are water-cooled. According to the invention, the rolling ingots leaving the oven are reheated before rolling and/or after a partial rolling step by means of inductive heating, so that the sections which, since they were lying on the rails or carriers, were not heated in the oven (17) to the same extent as the remaining parts of the ingot (rail marks), are reheated. <IMAGE></p> |
