PURPOSE:A composition, obtained by incorporating an ethylenic ionomer resin with an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer, and having remarkably improved flexibility without deteriorating heat distortion resistance. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by incorporating (A) 90-50pts.wt. preferably 85-50pts.wt. ethylenic ionomer resin with (B) 10-50pts.wt., preferably 15- 50pts.wt. olefinic thermoplastic elastomer. An ethylenic copolymer obtained by neutralizing 5-80mol% carboxylic acid groups in an ethylenic copolymer consisting of 75-99.5mol% ethylenic units and 0.5-15mol% alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid units with mono--trivalent metallic ions is used as the component (A). A thermoplastic elastomer, containing an olefinic resin and an ethylene-alpha- olefin based copolymer rubber, either one thereof being crosslinked, is used as the component (B). |
