PURPOSE:To obtain a dope prepared from an acrylonitrile (co)polymer and a solution of a copper compound, and giving a fiber or film having high and stable electrical conductivity. CONSTITUTION:The objective dope is prepared from an acrylonitrile polymer or acrylonitrile copolymer and a solution of a copper compound (nitrate, chloride or bromide). The solvent is water, an aqueous solution of an acid, ketone, or alcohol. The content of acrylonitrile in the (co)polymer is >=50%, and the concentration of the (co)polymer in the dope is 3-30wt% in the case of fiber or film. The copper compound is e.g. Cu(NO3)2.3H2O, CuBr2, etc., and the concentration of the compound in the solution is >=50%, preferably >=65%. |
