PURPOSE:To stabilize ferromagnetic powder by contacting ferromagnetic metal powder with solvent in which oxygen is dissolved and which does not react to ferromagnetic powder. CONSTITUTION:Needle-like iron powder which is obtained by reducing goethite and of which length and thickness are enought to allow ignition in the air is put into the nitrogen atmosphere in a reactor 10. Next, boluen is put into the system as solvent and circulated by a pump 20. After this, air is introduced into a packed column-type oxygen dissolution column 20 to dissolve oxygen into toluen and pour toluene which dissolves oxygen in the state of dissolved oxygen into the reactor 10. After the flow rate is stabilized, the reactor 10 is heated by a heat exchanger 50 and a reactor jacket 140, thereby to make iron powder react to the disolved oxygen. |
